It was good to have a strength day as I was completely ball bagged from the other sessions this week.
Apparently Graham slept through his alarm but we all know that really he doesn't like the deadlifts & checked out the WOD last night or was secretly at home practicing his double unders!

Form was ok I guess it was just so slow, they took about a week to come off the floor. My body doesn't like the mornings and with the lack of strengh work I am going at the moment my top end strengh is shocking!
We don't have enough time in the mornings as we have to get back for work. I think I will have to go back to my own programming for a bit or do more double days. Weekends are ok as I can stick in some more strengh.
My plan for july is to do every wod a weighted vest :-)
Had a bash at this one after work today - my back did not enjoy it at all. Think I might be a bit sore, really need to work on form. Can't belive Graham bottled it, he could have set up a 20kg bar and banged them out.

Good session today guys, we need more strengh sessions like that! Poor turn out on numbers hope the strengh sessions arent putting people off!!!
Rumour has it Gareth is drafting in a girl to the morning sessions to replace Toby and to teach Graham how to skip!!

Adam I hear you did 5 reps on 180, that is a good effort how was the form?

sounds like a plan, my vest is in the gym, goes up to 20kg. You could always just add weight to all the WODs as an alternative!!
20kgs!!! I'm not that stupid, I'm going to get a 10kg on so it's nice and compact!
just take half the sand bags out of my one that will make it 10kg!!
